What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Developmental/Adaptive Physical Education teaching license
• Demonstrated experience working with students requiring adaptive physical education
• Understanding of individualized education program (IEP) processes and goal-setting
• Ability to design, modify, and implement adaptive PE curriculum for a variety of physical and developmental needs
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility, patience, and creativity to inspire student engagement and success

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver adaptive physical education to students, supporting their physical, social, and emotional growth
• Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate various skill levels and abilities
• Track and report student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student planning and goal development
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with educational standards
• Foster a supportive, positive environment that encourages participation and skill development for all students
