Key Qualifications:

• Active California teaching credential with authorization for Adaptive Physical Education
• Demonstrated experience providing adaptive PE services in a school setting

• Ability to travel between school locations within district as part of an itinerant assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized adaptive physical education programs
• Assess students’ motor skills and physical abilities to tailor instruction to each learner
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Track student progress and maintain required documentation
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and achievements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute specialized expertise
