Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid Minnesota Audiologist license or eligibility for immediate licensure
- Experience providing audiological services in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnostic, and reporting of hearing issues
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to travel among multiple district sites
- Comfortable developing and implementing individualized plans for students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments
- Develop, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments
- Provide consultative services and recommendations to teachers and staff
- Maintain detailed records and complete documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Deliver in-services and training to school staff on auditory equipment and hearing loss awareness
- Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel
