Key Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid Minnesota Audiologist license or eligibility for immediate licensure
  • Experience providing audiological services in a school setting preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, diagnostic, and reporting of hearing issues
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to travel among multiple district sites
  • Comfortable developing and implementing individualized plans for students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments
  • Provide consultative services and recommendations to teachers and staff
  • Maintain detailed records and complete documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Deliver in-services and training to school staff on auditory equipment and hearing loss awareness
  • Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel
