Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Valid and current state licensure as an Audiologist
• Certification from ASHA (CCC-A) is preferred
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Excellent organizational abilities and the flexibility to work across various age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students
• Recommend and implement appropriate interventions, including hearing aids and assistive technology
• Interpret and communicate evaluation results to educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to IEP meetings, drafting goals and providing professional input
• Train staff and families on the use and care of hearing support equipment
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Travel between schools if necessary to provide services district-wide
