Based at a central academy, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that students from Pre-K through 12th grade receive essential audiological services. With around 50 students districtwide and a focused caseload each week, your work will help empower learners with diverse hearing needs. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audiology required
• Active ASHA certification (or eligible waiver)
• Valid state licensure to fit/repair hearing aids and to practice audiology
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in school-based or equivalent audiology roles
• Successful passage of relevant licensure examinations
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks per district protocol

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive audiological evaluations, fittings, monitoring, and troubleshooting for students, primarily at the home base campus
• Offer scheduled support at other district schools as needed, ensuring students’ assistive hearing devices are functional and appropriately programmed
• Collaborate closely with school personnel, including special education and itinerant teachers, to advocate for student needs
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and contribute to IEP processes as requested
• Participate in ongoing communication with families and staff, fostering strong relationships to support educational success
• Stay up-to-date with advances in audiological technology and best practices
