Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ hearing health across a dynamic school cluster. This role partners closely with the educational team to provide high-quality audiology services, with Mission Academy serving as your home base. You’ll work with Pre-K through 12th grade students, conducting assessments, troubleshooting hearing aids, and coordinating care with itinerant teachers and district staff.

With a manageable caseload of about 50 students, most work is anticipated at Mission Academy or Highland High School, and, occasionally, at other campuses. Flexible scheduling—15 to 20 hours per week across 2 to 3 days—is available to accommodate your professional and personal balance. Support from experienced staff will be there to ease onboarding and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering audiology services in a school setting (or equivalent)
  • Active ASHA Certification (waiver applies if holding this credential)
  • State licensure to practice audiology and fit/repair hearing aids
  • Successful completion of practical and state-mandated exams
  • Fingerprinting/background check clearance, in line with required credentialing

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive audiological evaluations for students PK-12
  • Oversee fitting, troubleshooting, and repair of hearing aids
  • Collaborate with teachers and district staff for seamless student support
  • Travel to additional district campuses as needed for districtwide support
  • Document services and testing outcomes in compliance with school and legal requirements
