Audiologist School Audiologist - Cibolo, Texas

Step into a vital educational setting supporting students with hearing needs across a cluster of schools near Cibolo, TX. This contract opportunity allows you to provide direct services and testing, primarily at Mission Academy, while collaborating with dedicated district professionals and occasionally traveling to other campuses as needed.

Start making a difference as soon as possible, working up to 32 hours per week through the academic year, with a schedule extending to late May. You’ll collaborate closely with the DHH Coordinator and itinerant teachers, supporting approximately 50 students from Pre-K through 12th grade—delivering specialized care in a supportive, well-organized environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Audiology required
• Valid state license to practice audiology and to fit/repair hearing aids
• ASHA Certification, or waiver if you possess it
• At least five years of experience within school settings (or equivalent)
• Successful completion of state-required examination
• Must complete fingerprinting and background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and troubleshooting for PK–12 students
• Provide ongoing audiological services and collaborate in IEP planning
• Serve as a resource on hearing technology and accommodations for staff and families
• Travel to additional district campuses to accommodate the needs of assigned students
• Work closely with other professionals to create the best environment for each student
• Maintain all necessary documentation and reports per school and regulatory requirements
