Step into a valued role supporting student success as an on-site Audiologist serving a cluster of schools in the Converse, TX area. Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time contract, providing essential hearing health services to students from preschool through grade 12. Your expertise will make a direct impact, with the majority of assessments and services conducted at Mission Academy, while also offering opportunities to collaborate at additional campuses across the district as needed.

Bring your specialization to a dynamic and collegial school environment for 15–20 hours per week over 2–3 days, with options for flexible scheduling to suit your availability. Maibel Tamez will provide on-site support as you help shape accessible learning environments for roughly 50 students districtwide (with a rotating weekly caseload).

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Current ASHA certification (or qualifying waiver)
• Valid state licenses to practice and to fit/repair hearing aids
• Successful completion of the relevant exam
• At least 5 years of experience in educational audiology or equivalent settings
• Capable of passing fingerprinting and background checks

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students aged PK–12
• Fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive devices
• Provide direct services, consultation, and on-site support to students, educators, and families
• Coordinate with itinerant teachers and school staff to schedule services districtwide
• Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments and interventions
