A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Audiologist to support students in the Riverside area through an itinerant role. This position offers 37.5 hours per week, structured as 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break. The contract begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (second week of June).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive audiological assessments and services to students across multiple school locations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans that support hearing-impaired students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district policies and state regulations.
- Support hearing aid and assistive listening device fitting, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and families as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Audiologist.
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations.
- Ability to travel within the Riverside area daily to serve multiple schools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and educational teams.
- Knowledge of current audiological assessment tools and assistive technologies.
- Commitment to student success and professional collaboration.
