Step into a dynamic, full-time contract opportunity for an experienced Audiologist looking to make a difference in a school-based setting. This role offers a chance to support students across an itinerant caseload in the Riverside area, with the assignment running from as soon as possible through the second week of June. Enjoy consistent 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a standard 37.5-hour week and a 30-minute lunch break each day.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and travel between school locations as needed
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary education team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students
- Interpret results, develop recommendations, and communicate findings with staff and families
- Provide direct and consultative services related to hearing disorders, including auditory processing issues
- Recommend and coordinate use of assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and classroom accommodations
- Work closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and special education teams to support IEP development and student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings as required
