Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of hearing assessment tools and best practices
- Skilled in administering hearing tests and evaluating results
- Detail-oriented with excellent report-writing abilities
- Comfortable with technology, including remote meeting platforms for IEP participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing tests for students, ensuring timely and accurate results
- Prepare detailed written reports summarizing findings and recommendations
- Actively participate in virtual IEP meetings, providing expertise and guidance on student audiology needs
- Oversee and support one Auditory-Oral class, ensuring students have access to and are properly using RMT hearing equipment
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to promote student success
- Travel within the assigned area as needed to deliver services across multiple school sites
