Step into a rewarding, impactful role supporting students across a network of schools as a traveling school audiologist! This full-time, contract opportunity runs from mid-December through early June of the following year and offers the chance to work closely with young learners experiencing hearing loss or Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD). You’ll enjoy a dynamic workweek, traveling between campuses during school hours and partnering closely with educational teams, families, and specialists.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Audiology License required
  • Prior experience working with pediatric audiology, school-based assessments, or related settings is highly valued
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive evaluations and preparing detailed reports for students with hearing challenges
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with IEP, IFSP, and 504 teams
  • Ability to troubleshoot, manage, and maintain HAT/FM and other amplification equipment
  • Flexible, collaborative approach and willingness to adapt in an itinerant, multi-campus role

Role Highlights:

  • Conduct audiological assessments for students and prepare comprehensive reports to guide educational planning
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs, IFSPs, and 504 plans by attending meetings and providing insight and recommendations
  • Manage ordering, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HAT/FM systems and hearing aids
  • Act as a consultative resource for families, school staff, and district teams to best support students’ access to instructional content
  • Work closely with the DHH team to deliver targeted interventions and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records, stay current on best practices, and foster a positive school environment
