Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Audiologist
  • Prior experience working with children and adolescents preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with a variety of audiological evaluation and intervention techniques appropriate for school-aged children
  • Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments for K-12 students
  • Interpret evaluation results and provide recommendations for accommodations or interventions
  • Consult with teachers and school staff regarding student needs and hearing loss management
  • Collaborate with families to discuss findings, share resources, and develop support plans
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, services, and student progress, in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in educational audiology
