Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • Valid and current state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans, and contribute to educational teams
  • Solid organizational skills and flexibility to manage a school caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students
  • Interpret results and communicate findings to parents, educators, and student support staff
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations, assistive technology, and learning strategies
  • Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to auditory needs and participate in team meetings
  • Fit, check, and troubleshoot hearing aids and FM systems
  • Educate school personnel and families on hearing-related issues and best practices for inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Stay current with audiology practices and ongoing professional development
