Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD or MA/MS)
- Valid Washington State Audiologist license or eligibility
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in K-12 or school settings
- Strong skills in conducting diagnostic assessments, developing accommodations, and collaborating with educational teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of current hearing assistive technology
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive auditory evaluations for students across the K-12 spectrum
- Interpret assessment data to help educators support students’ learning
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs and 504s)
- Recommend, fit, and manage hearing aids and assistive listening devices within the school setting
- Provide in-service training for staff on supporting hearing-impaired students in the classroom
- Maintain clear and compliant documentation of assessments, recommendations, and ongoing support
- Stay current with industry best practices and innovations in audiology
