Audiologist Educational Audiologist | Federal Way, Washington

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD or MA/MS)
• Valid Washington State Audiologist license or eligibility
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in K-12 or school settings
• Strong skills in conducting diagnostic assessments, developing accommodations, and collaborating with educational teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of current hearing assistive technology

Role Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive auditory evaluations for students across the K-12 spectrum
• Interpret assessment data to help educators support students’ learning
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs and 504s)
• Recommend, fit, and manage hearing aids and assistive listening devices within the school setting
• Provide in-service training for staff on supporting hearing-impaired students in the classroom
• Maintain clear and compliant documentation of assessments, recommendations, and ongoing support
• Stay current with industry best practices and innovations in audiology
