Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an Audiologist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Proficiency in administering auditory assessments and interpreting results
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant guidelines related to special education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations for students and interpret findings to inform educational planning
• Provide recommendations for hearing assistive technology and classroom acoustic modifications
• Develop and implement individualized audiology care plans
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Train school staff and families on hearing health, assistive devices, and classroom strategies
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all services rendered
