Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive hearing assessments for students, compiling accurate and detailed reports, and actively participating in virtual IEP meetings to ensure every child's needs are addressed. Additionally, you'll have the unique opportunity to work closely with an Auditory-Oral class, ensuring students’ RMT equipment is functioning optimally and facilitating their access to learning. This pivotal position allows you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while expanding your professional expertise.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Holds a valid audiologist license and credential appropriate for California schools
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with administering pediatric hearing tests and using RMT devices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing and participation in virtual meetings
- Strong organizational ability, flexibility, and commitment to student-centered care
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
