What We’re Looking For:
- Current ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate—required
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting hearing screenings, evaluations, and fitting/FM systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, students, and families
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desired
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in dynamic learning settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive audiological assessments for students
- Interpret assessment results and develop individualized recommendations
- Administer and program hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Consult with teachers and staff on classroom modifications and accommodations
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
- Complete documentation and maintain thorough student records
- Engage families in understanding hearing challenges and solutions
- Offer in-services and training for staff as needed
