School-Based Audiologist – Part-Time Hearing Specialist (0.5–0.7 FTE)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and audiological assessments for students

• Interpret results and provide recommendations for educational planning

• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and special education teams

• Assist with the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing assistive technology

• Provide consultation regarding classroom accommodations and auditory access

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

Experience:

• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

• Experience working with assistive listening devices and hearing aids is a plus

Education:

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology

• Active Washington State Audiologist License required

• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification preferred or required per district

Employment Type: Part-time, Contract (0.5–0.7 FTE)

Work Hours: Flexible schedule based on 0.5–0.7 FTE (approximately 18–26 hours per week during school hours)
