School-Based Audiologist – Part-Time Hearing Specialist (0.5–0.7 FTE)

Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and audiological assessments for students
Interpret results and provide recommendations for educational planning
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and special education teams
Assist with the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing assistive technology
Provide consultation regarding classroom accommodations and auditory access
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
Experience:
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Experience working with assistive listening devices and hearing aids is a plus
Education:
Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology
Active Washington State Audiologist License required
ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification preferred or required per district
Employment Type: Part-time, Contract (0.5–0.7 FTE)
Work Hours: Flexible schedule based on 0.5–0.7 FTE (approximately 18–26 hours per week during school hours)
