Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Knowledge of hearing screening, evaluation procedures, and assistive listening devices
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to commute between multiple schools as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students across various grade levels
  • Interpret audiological test results and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Consult with teachers and administrators on classroom modifications and accommodations
  • Fit, manage, and maintain hearing aids or FM systems for students as required
  • Provide auditory rehabilitation and counseling for students and families
  • Document all assessments, findings, and services in accordance with regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
