Step into an impactful role supporting students across multiple schools by lending your expertise as an Audiologist. In this itinerant, full-time contract position, you’ll help expand access to quality education for students with hearing challenges. This assignment will start in mid-December and continue through early June, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

What you’ll do:

  • Travel between school sites in the area during the school day, making a meaningful difference in diverse environments.
  • Assess students for hearing loss and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), providing thorough evaluations and detailed reports.
  • Actively contribute to the development of IEP, IFSP, and 504 plans by attending meetings, and recommending tailored accommodations and interventions.
  • Manage, order, and maintain HAT/FM systems and related audiological equipment for students.
  • Provide first-line troubleshooting for hearing aids and amplification devices, ensuring every student has reliable support.
  • Consult regularly with families, teachers, school teams, district teams, and the DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) team to aid in intervention planning and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to maximize students’ access to instruction and educational programming.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Valid California Audiology license (required)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Strong consultative and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple campuses
