Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an Audiologist or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
  • Familiarity with a variety of audiological assessment tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads across assigned campuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students
  • Interpret test results and collaborate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide guidance and training to school staff and parents regarding hearing loss management and assistive technologies
  • Recommend, fit, and troubleshoot hearing aids or other auditory devices
  • Contribute to the identification and support of students with auditory processing concerns
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Travel as needed between designated school sites close to Irving and Richardson, TX
