Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of audiological assessment tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads across assigned campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students
- Interpret test results and collaborate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide guidance and training to school staff and parents regarding hearing loss management and assistive technologies
- Recommend, fit, and troubleshoot hearing aids or other auditory devices
- Contribute to the identification and support of students with auditory processing concerns
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Travel as needed between designated school sites close to Irving and Richardson, TX
