An opportunity is available for a dedicated Audiologist to provide essential hearing services in an educational setting. This full-time, contract role offers a professional environment where you can impact students' academic success through expert audiological support. The position involves itinerant duties, primarily based in Murrieta, CA, with responsibilities extending within the school district.

Key responsibilities include conducting hearing assessments, fitting and maintaining hearing devices, and collaborating with educators and parents to develop individualized plans that support students with hearing impairments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple school locations are essential.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Audiologist licensure appropriate for California
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
  • Knowledge of audiometric testing and hearing aid technology
  • Ability to manage itinerant caseloads and travel between school sites effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel

Details:

  • Location: Itinerant services in Murrieta, CA; position based in Lake Elsinore, CA
  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Contract duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year (mid-June)
