Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA is preferred
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations or within school settings strongly desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive audiological assessments for students
  • Interpret assessment results and make recommendations to support student learning and participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to discuss findings and strategies
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals related to hearing and auditory skills
  • Provide counseling and resources to students, families, and staff regarding hearing loss, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and support compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
