Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Audiologist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Audiology
- ASHA Certification (CCC-A) preferred
- Prior experience working with children or youth (K-12), ideally in a school-based setting
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Empathetic, adaptable, and dedicated to enhancing student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students across K-12 grades
- Interpret audiological findings and provide recommendations for educational accommodations or interventions
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students with identified hearing needs
- Fit, program, and monitor hearing aids, FM systems, and assistive listening devices as needed
- Develop individualized service plans that support each student’s ability to access the school curriculum
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based educational planning
