Job Type Contract

Step into a rewarding audiology role supporting the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) student community from Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a tangible impact by consulting with staff, completing audiology reports, and providing direct feedback for educational teams. You’ll also oversee audiology assessments, initially supporting nine Pre-K students with additional caseload specifics discussed during your interview.

Qualifications:

  • Active professional state license to practice audiology in Kansas
  • Valid state professional license issued by the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or similar state credentialing body
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in audiology
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially within DHH populations, is highly valued
  • Ability to travel within the district to multiple campuses as needed
  • Strong consultative, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide audiology reports for DHH students
  • Act as a consultant to staff, sharing expert feedback and supporting best practices
  • Work collaboratively with educational teams to optimize learning outcomes
  • Travel between school locations as needed

This contract role extends through May 2027, providing a stable and meaningful opportunity for those passionate about educational audiology. Make a direct difference every day for local students by joining this dedicated team. Apply today and take the next step in your audiology career!
