Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state license or ability to obtain appropriate licensure for audiology practice in schools
  • Previous experience in educational, pediatric, or school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP process, hearing screening protocols, and assistive technology for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and interpret results for preschool through high school students
  • Manage hearing aid fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as the use of FM and classroom amplification systems
  • Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ access to the curriculum
  • Participate in IEP meetings, develop hearing accommodation plans, and provide staff training
  • Maintain accurate records while adhering to all federal, state, and district regulations
