Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Audiologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with school staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students, including screenings and evaluations
  • Interpret test results, develop recommendations, and deliver written reports
  • Provide on-site management of hearing technology such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening devices
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Educate students, staff, and parents on hearing loss prevention and accommodation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and government regulations
