Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid state license as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Experience conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and interpreting results
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized audiology intervention plans
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and school teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough hearing evaluations and screenings for students
  • Recommend, fit, and program assistive listening devices or hearing aids as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding strategies to support students with hearing impairments in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans
  • Provide education on hearing health and preventative care to students and staff
