Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Illinois Audiologist License required
  • Previous experience conducting auditory processing evaluations highly preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based assessments and IEE procedures is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially working within interdisciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering thorough, accurate evaluations

Responsibilities:

  • Perform an in-depth auditory processing evaluation for the designated student as part of an Independent Educational Evaluation
  • Partner with a school nurse and other professionals to gather relevant information and ensure a comprehensive assessment
  • Adhere to established protocols for documentation and reporting, ensuring all requirements are met within the specified timeframe
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the educational team
