Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
- Valid and current state licensure as an Audiologist
- ASHA CCC-A certification preferred
- Prior experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school or educational settings
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain accurate, thorough evaluation documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for students as requested by schools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather relevant student background and assemble necessary records
- Provide clear, actionable written and verbal reports summarizing assessment outcomes
- Make professional recommendations for accommodations, support services, or assistive technology as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly within established timelines
