Audiologist Educational Audiologist | Overland Park, Kansas

This full-time contract opportunity, extending through May 2027, focuses on delivering high-quality audiological services within a school-based setting. Work closely with a dedicated team while serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Flexibility is available regarding work hours—let us know your availability if you can commit to fewer than full-time hours.

In this role, you’ll provide consultations, conduct thorough audiology reports, and offer valuable feedback to faculty in support of DHH students. Travel between multiple campuses may be required, ensuring you make an impact across a wider student community. The initial Pre-K caseload consists of nine students, with further caseload details provided during the interview process.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited program
• Active professional state licensure to practice audiology in Kansas
• Valid hearing aid dispenser’s license from the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners, or appropriate state credentialing
• Recent experience working with school-aged DHH populations strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to collaboration and ongoing consultation with staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and provide audiological assessments for DHH students
• Complete detailed audiology reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult, train, and communicate findings to school staff and caregivers
• Maintain accurate records and follow district protocols
• Travel between campuses as necessary
