Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
- Experience in educational or pediatric audiology settings preferred
- Familiarity with hearing screenings, assessments, and assistive listening devices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working with children, staff, and families
- Ability to travel between school sites as part of an itinerant assignment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive auditory assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and technology, such as FM systems or hearing aids
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, services provided, and student progress
- Educate staff, students, and families about hearing health and prevention
- Travel between multiple school sites in the Murrietta area to serve students as needed
