Make a positive impact as an Educational Audiologist working with school-aged students from September 1st through October 14th! This contract opportunity allows you to provide essential audiological services to children in multiple districts, supporting academic success and student well-being. With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, you’ll work with a manageable caseload of 113 students across 13 different districts, playing a pivotal role in their educational journey.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Audiology licensure for the state of Minnesota
  • Demonstrated experience, clinical or school-based, with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Strong knowledge of hearing assessments, auditory habilitation, and assistive technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple school districts
  • Ability to start September 1st and commit through October 14th

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students as needed
  • Interpret results and collaborate with IEP teams to recommend and implement accommodations
  • Provide direct auditory intervention and counseling services to students and staff
  • Support classroom teachers and other staff in managing assistive listening devices and other audiology technology
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as a vital member of special education teams
  • Offer training and resources to educators and families regarding hearing loss and supports
