Job Title: School-Based Audiologist
Job Details:
- Location: Redford, MI
- Dates: Leave Position
- Position Type: Full-time or Part-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students.
- Perform hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments.
- Recommend and monitor hearing assistive technology (FM systems, hearing aids, etc.).
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, special education staff, and families to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations related to hearing and communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide consultation, education, and resources to staff and families regarding hearing loss and hearing conservation.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Audiology.
- Current state Audiologist license (or eligibility to obtain).
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
