Make an impact as an Audiologist supporting students across multiple school sites in the Riverside area! This full-time, contract role offers a dynamic itinerary and the chance to provide vital hearing services that empower young learners. With an immediate start and steady hours from now through the second week of June, you'll play a key role in ensuring access to educational opportunities for every student.
What you bring:
- Current licensure as an Audiologist
- Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Solid knowledge of hearing testing and assistive technology in school settings
- Ability to travel between multiple sites in the area
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Compassion for students with special needs and a collaborative spirit
What you'll do:
- Conduct hearing screenings, comprehensive audiological assessments, and FM system fittings for students
- Provide recommendations and in-service training to staff on hearing technologies and classroom accommodations
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all school and state regulations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop and support IEPs
- Serve as the go-to resource for audiological expertise across campuses as an itinerant professional
