Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Current ASHA certification (a waiver is available for qualifying candidates holding this credential)
• Valid state licensure to practice Audiology plus appropriate licensure to fit and repair hearing aids
• Minimum 5 years of experience in school-based settings or the equivalent
• Successful completion of licensing exam
• Ability to pass required fingerprinting and background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services (including hearing aid fitting and repair) for approximately 50 students districtwide, focusing on those transported to Mission Academy or Highland High School
• Schedule and provide troubleshooting and testing services for district students, coordinating with school staff and itinerant teachers
• Travel occasionally to individual campuses throughout the district to meet student needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and family members
• Receive local support from resident staff to ensure seamless service delivery
