Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Current ASHA certification (waiver accepted for ASHA-certified candidates)
• State licensure to fit and repair hearing aids, as well as to practice audiology
• Successful completion of relevant examination
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in school-based settings or an equivalent background
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and background check, per district requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive audiology services and testing, primarily based at Mission Academy, supporting PK-12 students with a caseload of approximately 50 students
• Provide hearing aid fitting, repair, and troubleshooting for students district-wide, including on-site visits to individual campuses as needed
• Collaborate with itinerant teachers and support staff, coordinating schedules for optimal student access
• Document services, write reports, and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required
• Maintain compliance with all district and state policies and standards
