Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students’ communication and learning journeys across a collaborative school district setting. This position is ideal for an experienced Audiologist who thrives in a flexible environment and has a passion for making an impact in educational settings. You’ll primarily work out of a central campus used as a home base, while occasionally traveling to other local schools to serve a diverse caseload of PK–12 students.

Key qualifications and experience sought:

  • Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Minimum of 5 years in school-based or equivalent settings
  • Current ASHA certification (or waiver for those who hold it)
  • State licensure to fit and repair hearing aids, and to practice as an Audiologist
  • Successful passage of relevant examinations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with staff, teachers, and district personnel
  • Fingerprinting and background check completion (time-sensitive requirement)

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and supporting the auditory needs of approximately 50 students across a cluster of campuses, with a rotating weekly caseload
  • Conducting hearing screenings, diagnostic assessments, and fitting and repairing hearing aids
  • Providing scheduled troubleshooting sessions for students districtwide in partnership with itinerant teachers
  • Maintaining documentation in line with school and state requirements
  • Collaborating with school staff and families to develop and update care plans
  • Working closely with on-site support to deliver high-quality services in a school environment

This contract role offers a flexible schedule of 15 to 20 hours per week, split across 2 to 3 days, making it compatible with other professional or personal commitments. Schedule and hours can be arranged to fit your availability during the school week.
