Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Audiologist supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This role is primarily based at a central academy campus, working with a cluster of district schools. Your expertise will provide essential audiological services and support, making a positive impact on students’ learning and communication abilities.

This position offers part-time flexibility, averaging 15–20 hours over 2–3 days each week. You’ll mostly serve students at a central campus, with periodic travel to schools across the district. Scheduling is adaptable to accommodate your availability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in school settings or equivalent education-related environments
• ASHA certification (or waiver if ASHA is held)
• Valid state audiology license, including licensure to fit and repair hearing aids
• Successful completion of relevant state exams
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct audiological evaluations and manage hearing screenings for PK–12 students
• Fit and repair hearing aids; troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
• Collaborate with itinerant teachers and school staff to support student needs districtwide
• Develop and implement individualized service plans, ensuring compliance with IEPs
• Maintain documentation according to district and state requirements
• Support a caseload of approximately 50 students, with varying weekly direct service
