Step into a rewarding contract role supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students in a school community near Sterling Heights, MI. This onsite position runs from August 31, 2026, through November 24, 2026, covering a short-term maternity leave. You’ll play a vital part in assessments, educational planning, and collaborative efforts to foster student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s Degree in Audiology
• Active Michigan Audiology License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
• 3–5 years’ experience in pediatric or educational audiology preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interpret audiological evaluations for multidisciplinary audiences

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and educationally relevant DHH evaluations
• Participate in student evaluations, consultations, and educational planning alongside a supportive team
• Collaborate with clinical audiologists and ENT providers to gather and interpret medical documentation necessary for DHH eligibility and HAT use
• Consult with teachers, families, and school professionals, translating technical information into actionable educational strategies
• Assist families with clinical follow-up and support
• Work with the Early On Team, providing services and home visits for DHH students from birth to three years old
