Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state Audiologist license required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with administering hearing screenings and evaluations
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing assessments and screenings for students
- Develop and manage individualized service plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support educational goals
- Recommend and coordinate the use of hearing assistive technology
- Participate in IEP meetings to communicate findings and advocate for students
- Provide onsite and consultative support as needed for students and staff
