Key Qualifications:

  • Active Audiologist license with ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • Proven experience working with school-aged children, preferably within an educational environment
  • Strong understanding of hearing assessments, auditory processing, and fitting of assistive devices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple days each week

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students as identified or referred
  • Provide recommendations and assist in the fitting/management of hearing aids and assistive listening devices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ auditory and academic needs
  • Develop, document, and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and families regarding hearing health and accommodations
  • Uphold compliance with state and federal guidelines related to audiology services in schools
