Step into a vital role supporting students’ success as a contract Audiologist in a dynamic K-12 environment near Tacoma, WA. With a flexible part-time schedule (.5-.7 FTE) and a start date of August 26th, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to provide essential hearing services throughout the school year.

Your expertise will be essential for:

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments for students ranging from kindergarten through high school
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment and intervention plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and school staff to support each student’s educational goals
  • Providing ongoing support, recommendations, and resources for students with hearing needs
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal educational requirements related to audiology services
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and timely reporting for student records
  • Participating in IEP teams and student evaluation meetings, contributing your professional insight
  • Serving as a go-to resource for parents and faculty on hearing health in the classroom

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A valid state license and/or certification as an Audiologist
  • Prior experience serving school-aged children, preferably within a K-12 setting
