Virtual Audiologist (1099) – New York

Location: Remote (New York)
Position Type: Full-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay: $60–$65/hour

We're partnering with a New York school district seeking a licensed Audiologist to provide virtual services for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work from home while supporting students through a collaborative teletherapy model.

Position Details

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Fully remote (work from home)
  • 1099 independent contractor
  • Full school-year assignment
  • Competitive hourly pay: $60–$65/hour
  • Clinical mentorship and dedicated technical support

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual audiological evaluations and hearing assessments
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with special education teams, parents, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure compliance with New York state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Active New York Audiologist license
  • Master's or Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D. preferred)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Experience with teletherapy is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup
