Your expertise will ensure that students receive the essential hearing support and accommodations they need to thrive, all while collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state Audiology licensure and credentials appropriate for school settings
  • Prior experience providing audiological services within schools or pediatric populations
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with developing and implementing hearing-related accommodations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites (itinerant position)

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing screenings and assessments for students
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support IEP goals
  • Providing consultation, training, and resources to staff and families on hearing loss and the use of assistive listening devices
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting classroom amplification systems
  • Documenting assessment results, services, and recommendations thoroughly and promptly
  • Serving as a resource to help foster an inclusive learning environment for all students
