Step into a vital on-site role supporting students across a cluster of schools, with a home base at Mission Academy. In this contract position, you’ll provide essential audiology services to a diverse group of PK-12 students, collaborating closely with the DHH Coordinator and itinerant teachers. You’ll support students primarily at Mission Academy, with some travel to campuses district-wide, ensuring their hearing needs are met for optimal learning.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• At least 5 years of experience working in school settings (or equivalent)
• ASHA certification or eligibility for waiver
• State license to practice audiology and fit/repair hearing aids
• Successful completion of relevant exam(s)
• Fingerprinting and background check clearance

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive audiological evaluations and ongoing care for PK-12 students, focusing primarily on a caseload of approximately 50 students (with only a subset seen each week)
• Collaborate with staff, DHH coordinator, and itinerant teachers to coordinate and deliver services across a school cluster
• Facilitate scheduled troubleshooting and maintenance sessions for districtwide students, especially those bussed to central sites like Mission Academy and Highland High
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all district and state regulations
• Support students’ success by tailoring interventions and tracking progress
