What helps you succeed in this role:

  • Valid and current Audiologist license in California
  • Previous experience providing audiological services within school settings preferred
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and troubleshoot technology (such as FM systems, hearing aids, and other assistive devices)
  • Skilled in IEP development, progress documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
  • Detail-oriented and proficient in digital case management

What you’ll do:

  • Perform hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations for students
  • Recommend and implement auditory equipment and accommodations
  • Develop and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) audiology goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, support staff, and families
  • Educate staff and students on hearing loss prevention and effective communication strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and district policies
  • Travel between sites as needed to support student needs across programs
