Deliver vital support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students as an audiologist in a dynamic educational setting near Warren, MI. This on-site, short-term contract position spans from August 31, 2026, through November 24, 2026, providing coverage during a 12-week maternity leave. Work directly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, making an impact across all grade levels within the district.

Key Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Current Michigan Audiology License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
  • Preferably 3–5 years of experience in pediatric or school-based audiology
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audiological assessments and DHH educational evaluations
  • Collaborate with clinical audiologists and ENT specialists for medical documentation and eligibility determinations
  • Interpret findings for teachers, families, and school staff
  • Provide educational planning input for students with hearing impairments
  • Consult with families and staff regarding hearing loss and its educational implications
  • Support Early On Team with DHH infants and toddlers, including performing home visits when necessary
  • Guide families in follow-up on clinical recommendations
  • Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with school district guidelines
