Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
  • Previous experience providing services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment, diagnostic, and intervention techniques for students with hearing loss
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for students across various grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention and management plans
  • Provide recommendations and collaborate with IEP teams regarding accommodations and assistive technology
  • Educate students, families, and educators about hearing, hearing loss, and communication strategies
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in educational audiology
