A full-time position is available for an Autism Specialist in Salem, OR, focused on supporting students with autism spectrum disorder in a school setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of students with autism, using observation and formal assessment tools

  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote educational growth and social development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education license required
  • Experience working as an Autism Specialist within a school environment
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations and assessments for students with autism spectrum disorder
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation and provide timely reports
