You'll serve several nearby high schools, closely partnering with district professionals, school psychologists, and administrators to drive meaningful behavioral change and student growth. Your expertise will be pivotal in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), crafting and implementing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), coordinating targeted observations, and devising interventions that support diverse student needs.
Your day-to-day work will make a tangible impact on students’ academic and personal success, particularly for those with emotional and behavioral challenges. This is an itinerant position, requiring reliable transportation, as you'll serve multiple school sites, collaborating directly with various teams.
The ideal professional brings:
- BACB certification and an active BCBA license
- At least one year of experience working in school-based ABA roles
- Prior background supporting high school students, especially those in ED populations
- Recent crisis intervention and de-escalation training
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to multitask across campuses
