Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Experience providing behavioral analysis services in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Proven ability to create and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Familiarity with data collection, assessment tools, and applied behavior analysis methodologies
  • Commitment to ethical standards and continuous professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to determine the root causes of challenging behaviors
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention programs for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and families to ensure consistent support and carryover of plans
  • Provide training and ongoing support to school staff on behavioral strategies, classroom management, and progress monitoring
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and required reports in compliance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success
