As a valued professional, you’ll be responsible for functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs), conducting student observations, and providing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Collaborate with other educational staff to create a positive learning atmosphere and ensure student success.

Key qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Solid foundation in performing FBAs and drafting BIPs
  • Proven ability to observe, collect data, and analyze behavior patterns
  • Experience supervising RBTs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Principal responsibilities:

  • Complete functional behavior assessments for students, using data-driven approaches
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Conduct in-class and individual observations to inform practices
  • Supervise and mentor RBTs, ensuring fidelity of intervention strategies
  • Work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain clear documentation and uphold ethical guidelines

This full-time role consists of 37.5 hours each week, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the school community. Competitive compensation is offered at $55-$65 per hour, reflecting your expertise in supporting students with diverse behavioral needs.
