Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Expertise in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Strong experience designing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Proven ability to provide insightful classroom and individual student observations
- Experience supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnership with teachers, staff, and families
- Flexibility and initiative to address dynamic student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs to assess student behavior and guide intervention planning
- Develop, monitor, and adjust BIPs for students, ensuring effective strategies are in place
- Observe students within classroom settings to gather data and inform ongoing supports
- Supervise and support RBTs, providing feedback and ensuring fidelity of implementation
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive, positive school climate
- Document progress, write professional reports, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
