Share your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Special Education Teacher, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), helping young learners thrive both academically and socially. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, set in a welcoming, collaborative school environment near Alexandria, VA.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid BCBA, Special Education Teacher certification, or RBT credential (required)
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in special education settings
- Strong background in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD strategies highly valued
- Proficiency in managing challenging behaviors and utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable team player, willing to collaborate with classroom staff and administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one instruction and behavioral support to a 1st grade student
