What You’ll Do:

  • Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to a 1st grade student with special needs.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies tailored to Autism, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site administration to develop and monitor educational goals.
  • Maintain open communication with families and school staff to ensure a positive experience.
  • Adapt activities and lessons to support both academic and behavioral development.
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment built on patience, structure, and encouragement.

Your Background Might Include:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Special Education Teacher, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students.
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • A passion for working with students with Autism, ADHD, or behavioral needs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
